Music Seat With Canterbury - Versatile - c1900

This piece makes a fabulous piano chair with height adjustment and under-storage for music and work books.
The seat area is traditionally upholstered with matching braid. The seat rises and falls with a very sturdy mechanism to allow adjustment from between 41cm - 56cm (16.1" - 22") - it is flanked by attractive sweeping riser arms which are united back to front by a turned rail to form a pair of full width side handles.

The piece will function as a music stool, fireside seat, hallway rest or magazine storage - the possibilities are many.
Overall a pleasing piece of furniture which looks attractive and functions nicely. The piece is clean and very well presented. It is solid in use and a super and interesting design.
