The top is crowned with a Lion finial holding a shield, with an engraved W to the front.
The underside is marked by the highly regarded silversmith, " Mappin & Webb, London & Sheffield ".
A real stunner in superb condition standing 9" tall to top of finial and 6" across the lid rim.
