Description

A delightful and most romantic heart shaped box, made from antique sterling silver with a pretty all-over repousse decoration and a domed lid with a central vacant cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if desired.

The base has a full hallmark for Birmingham 1898 and the lid also marked. The makers initials are also present CS*FS for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings - Frank Shepherd.

Excellent condition, measuring 1 5/8" x 1 3/4" x 1" tall.
