A charming and highly decorative silver plated cake stand dating to the late Victorian or Edwardian period, around 1900.

An unusual example, the cake baskets each have three ball feet to stand on once removed from the stand and each beautifully decorated with a pierced or reticulated border to the sides.

The stand is where the maker's mark for the top-notch silversmith, Walker and Hall, can be found.

Excellent condition, the stand measuring 15 1/2" tall and each basket having a diameter measuring 6 3/4"
