The lid is sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1910 together with the makers initials.
The lid is set with a large piece of glossy tortoiseshell, with highly decorative silver pique inlay.
This is a really usable example in superb condition 3 1/4" tall with the lid having a diameter measuring 3 1/8".
