A quite stunning George IV Mahogany Tea caddy dating to around 1790, decorated with the most exquisite and intricate inlay with a large shell to the top and front both surrounded by floral motifs.

There is a diamond shaped Ivory escutcheon to the front, there is a tasselled key for display purposes, but not working.

The interior reveals an inlaid surround and inlay surrounding the two Mahogany lids with turned Ivory knobs.

An absolute gem for your collection. 6" x 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".
