Antique Oak Chest of Drawers

18th century
Description

A late 17th early 18thcentury chest of drawers in oak,with applied geometric mouldings to the drawer fronts. It has panel sides, bunn feet, oak drawer linings and side drawer runners, the handles are replacements but are correct in style for the period.Of great interest is the wall paper in the top drawer which is hand blocked 18th century paper. The chest is of a particulary small size for the period and is a good colour and patina.
