Atropos Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
Originally based in oxford st, t.cooke & son were dealers in natural history items, taxidermy, eggs, bird skins, and cetera.

This cabinet is in fine condition and of a beautiful colour and patination. It has turn out half pillars which are lockable and both original locks are present and fully functional. The drawers all have closely fitting glazed frame tops and are base lined with papered cork. The drawers run smoothly and are an excellent fit.

The cabinet will lend itself to a multitude of collecting pursuits and is not only practical but a very good looking antique piece of furniture.
