Magnificent Art Nouveau Three-tier Cake Stand in Silver Plate by Fenton Brothers

Description

Dating to around 1900, they don't come much better than this, particularly if you are an Art Nouveau devotee. The three plates are beautifully shaped with repousse decoration in each corner, all three fitting perfectly into the frame with standing on stylized legs.

The three square graduated plates range is size; 6", 7" and 8". The underside of the frame is signed by the silversmith, the well renowned Fenton Brothers of Sheffield, who always produced top notch pieces.

A stunning piece in excellent condition standing 15 1/2" tall.
