Unusual Antique English Sterling Silver Inkwell - London 1901

Description

A handsome little inkwell made from English sterling silver hallmarked for London 1901.

The circular inkwell has a central lidded chamber which holds the glass liner which can be easily removed for re-filling and cleaning. Surrounding this are four holes which would have been to hold one or more fin silver dip pens.

Excellent condition, with a base diameter measuring 3" and standing 2 1/4" tall.
