Antique English Sterling Silver Ring Box (For Three) - 1903

Description

A stunning English sterling silver ring box, in a beautiful ovoid form with a riot of decorative repousse work with vacant cartouche to the front, back and in the center of the domed lid, any one of these could be engraved by your silversmith should you with to personalise for a gift.

The box is lined in a Burgundy coloured velvet and fitted to accommodate three rings.

There is a hallmark for Birmingham 1903, making this a true Edwardian example; the underside is also stamped by the top notch silversmith, Mappin & Webb, 2 Queen Victoria St., London E.C.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/2" x 2 3/8" x 1 1/2" tall.
