Description

A stunning Victorian Walnut table or desk box dating to the mid-19th century beautifully edged in Tulipwood, then inlaid with tiny Boxwood and Ebony checkered stringing, Geometric Tunbridge Ware and Kingwood; all wonderfully executed, refined and intricate. The front and top are inlaid with a central Mother of Pearl lozenge.

The interior has been professionally re-lined with an attractive hand-marbled paper creating a fresh and clean finish ready for use.

Complete with working taselled key, the box is in excellent condition, measuring 10 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 5" tall.
