This is the Tudor Oyster model number 3136 which has a solid stainless steel case.
The dial is completely original and is in incredible condition, it has blue steel hands and flourescent numerals.
The case has been professionally mirror polished so is in superb condition.
The 15 jewel manual wind movement is an absolute gem and of course is fully marked with Rolex Geneve.
As you would expect from Rolex the watch is fully marked on the dial as Tudor Oyster, movement and case.
This is a highly collectable watch dating to 1940 and much sought after.
It comes complete with a new presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Rolex are one of the most exclusive makers in the world, it can be used as an everyday watch but would look fabulous when worn for special occasions.
The watch case is mid size measuring 31mm wide not including the crown.
It has a new premium quality chestnut brown leather strap fitted but if you prefer a black one can be supplied.
Overall this watch is in beautiful original condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift.
The watch has just been fully overhauled, restored and serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Rolex in all respects.
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled by the respected watch specialist Alan Williams FBHI, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
