Edwardian Front Desk - Stunning Example - c1910
With a five drawer design in a two over three layout, and a fall front opening to reveal a top quality fitted interior, this desk offers style and practicality in abundance.

Cabriole legs with claw and ball feet match the serpentine front skirt. The drawer fronts display fine inlaid stringing which is repeated on the fall flap.
The desk displays excellently from all angles and features a finished rear therefore can be used in locations where it is not positioned against a wall.

Internally three drawers either side flank arched sculpted cubbies, which reside over a bank of three further drawers. The interior benefits from inlay to the drawer fronts and presents very attractively.

The top of the desk provides a low raised gallery which adds to the style and prevents items from falling to the rear.
A perfect example of practicality and good design with craftsmanship which marks the piece out as one of quality.

Overall this piece of furniture is in very good condition. It is rare to find an example in this order.
