Yew, Elm & Ash Windsor Chair - Thames Valley - c1780
This piece benefits from a pleasingly shaped seat and a yew bar stick-back. The double bow design with curved bow-arm supports provides a comfortable seating position.

To the front the chair displays triple turned legs with tapered rears. The leg set is united by an 'H' stretcher for durability.
Overall an excellent example presented in good antique condition. A good early English Windsor chair which will make a lovely addition to any setting and is ready to give another 230 years of service.
