The 8 day duration 5 pillar movement striking the hours on a bell and with recoil anchor escapement. The silvered brass dial with Roman numerals, seconds, date and strike/silent facility to the arch.
The small oak case with a plain trunk and a long door standing on small bracket feet and a plain base. The broken arch topped hood with dentil moulding and plain oak pillars with brass Doric capitals. The dial accessed via a glazed door.
