Description

A charming little jewellery box made from English sterling silver with a simple circular design with an attractive slightly domed lid with a shaped edge.

The box stands on three "Fleur de Lys" cast legs, the box is hallmarked for Birmingham 1922. The makers mark is also present for the top-notch silversmith, Elkington & Co.

The interior of the lid is lavishly gilded and the inside lined in a navy blue velvet, more recently replaced to create a clean finish ready for use.

Excellent condition, measuring 2 3/4" across the lid and standing 1 1/2" tall.
