Atropos Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.

The cabinet which is in beautiful condition would house many and varied collections and lends itself well to medals, coins, all types of insect, etc, etc.
The cabinet which was made circa 1890 is constructed of solid mahogany with fine and exotic figuring. It has all the original glass, fittings, lock and key. The twenty drawers run smoothly on hidden runners and are paper lined over a base lining of original cork. Each drawer has a hidden cell to the front and the glazed frame drawer tops are an exceedingly good fit.

We specialise in the highest quality drawer re-papering if required.
All questions are welcome and I am happy to say that this cabinet is in fine and undamaged condition. It has been in the possession of one family since new and has not been subjected to the stresses and strains of institutional life!
