A quite magnificent and very stylish English tea service by the well renowned quality silversmith, Mappin & Webb with all pieces fully marked London & Sheffield with the Triple Deposit Prince's Plate mark, dating to around 1900.

Apart from the outstanding quality, what makes this set particularly sought-after and special are the figural handles cast as Snakes, the teapot and hot water pot incorporating stunning carved Fruitwood handles, complimenting the lid finials.

Exceptional in every way remaining in superb condition. The teapot measuring 10 3/4" spout to handle x 5 3/4" tall to top of handle and the hot water jug measuring 7 3/4" spout to handle x 8" tall.
