Regency Bracket Clock

19th century
Description

A Regency Bracket Clock, the mahogany case with a rounded top, enhanced with lapette and paterae coming to the front underside. The facing panel veneered in tightly burred walnut, with ebony rails, the rails and facing panels inlaid with cut brass leaves, flower heads and star burst lozenge. The case mounted with a pair of rose and ring brass handles and brass ball feet.

The convex enamel dial with Roman numeral chapter ring, original hands, brass bezel and convex glass.

The single fusee movement with adjustable pendulum, and keep knob.

Movement and case in good condition and working order, rear door missing glass.
