Library Steps - Yew & Leather - c1900

An excellent set of library steps chair presented in yew with leather treads.

Created as a circular ladder these steps are comfortable and safe to use, easy to move from one location to another, robustly constructed and very attractive.

The steps crafted in solid Yew timber. Four treads make a quarter turn and the user is supported by the centre pole which is complete with charming brass finial. The steps benefit from tooled leather inlay in green with gold embossing.

Overall a fun and functional antique presented in excellent antique condition.
