Description

An early carriage clock by Perrin, Paris circa 1845. A fine early carriage clock with a superbly engraved case. An inner dial masking with engraving and a fully engraved back door. Fine blued steel hands to the enamel dial. An 8-day duration mechanism strking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Signed to the mechanism 'Perrin a Paris'. A one-piece case.

Perrin of Paris is recorded as working at Rue des Petits Champs in 1840.
