Always wonderful to find these little sterling boxes with enameled lids, with a lavishly gilded interior

A good gauge of silver was used to create the box, and the lid beautifully decorated with the glorious panel of enamel, over a pretty engine turned design beneath. The box is hallmarked for Birmingham 1911

Superb condition with a lid diameter measuring 1 1/4" x 3/4" tall to top of domed lid.
