Beautiful Antique English Jewelry Box - Inlaid Walnut C.1860

Description

A stunning Victorian Walnut Jewellery box dating to the mid-19th century beautifully cross-banded and an intricate central inlay to the centre of the lid.

The geometric inlay has been created from Tulipwood, Ebony & Boxwood, with a central Mother of Pearl and Abalone shell lozenge.

The interior has been professionally re-lined with an attractive hand-marbled paper creating a fresh and clean finish ready for use. There is also a removable tray, lined in the same paper.

Complete with working taselled key, the box is in excellent condition, measuring 10 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 5" tall.
