Stunning Brass Fireside Bin - Gorgeous Shape - c1860

A fine quality brass log & coal bin with wonderful detail and magnificent tapered cone form.

Standing over a wide base the piece rises to a boat shaped top with fixed over-handle. The brass depicts mythical beasts and floral patterns.

Great colour and patina are evident and the bin is in good, solid antique order throughout. Suitable for both logs and coal.

Overall an unusual example which will make a fine decorative item when not employed in the fire place.
