Unusual French Mahogany & Brass Revolving Book Caddy for Desk-top

Description

A very handsome and most unusual desk-top revolving bookcase, French in origin and dating to around 1900.

Made from solid Mahogany, the top is beautifully cross-banded, inlaid with brass and both top and bottom trimmed in brass to the sides. All supports / panels to the sides are also inlaid with a double thick line of brass inlay.

To give you an idea of size, the books I have photographed measure approximately 7 1/4" tall x 5" wide, this will give you an indication of which of your books would work with this piece.

Excellent condition, measuring 9" square x 13 1/2" tall.
