Rare Victorian English Horn Cylindrical Tea Caddy - Complete with Caddy Spoon C.1860

Description

A wonderful addition to any tea caddy collection, a rare (I have never seen one before) Victorian tapering cylindrical caddy made from English or Scottish horn with a beautiful polished patina.

The top has a turned bone finial, and the fittings made from a Nickel plate, there is a push button to the front to release the lid, the hinge is in perfect working order.

The inside reveals that miraculously, this caddy has retained it's original horn tea caddy spoon,

A highly collectible gem in excellent condition, with a base diameter measuring 3 1/8" x 5 1/2" tall to top of finial.
