Lovely Victorian Tub Armchair - Super Shape - c1900

This armchair is a classic tub style with original bun front feet and great style.

The chair was re-covered some years ago with a pastel pink velour over a thin wadding. The job was nicely executed and the resulting chair maintained good shape and under this cover is still in strong solid order.

The chair now needs a re-cover. It will look splendid when done and all of the main elements of a good chair remain. The chair is well sprung and comfortable - just the unpicked seams and the pussycat attacks to the front make it look scruffier than it is.

The armchair is of a good build quality and will last another century or two.
