Victorian Cabinet - Ash - c1900
Charming compact late Victorian cabinet in Ash with carved door.
The cabinet is well presented and offers a variety of uses.
This example benefits from a lovely hand carving to the front of the door.
The hinged field panel door to the cabinet opens to reveal a main compartment with an internal shelf. When open there is a charming clover-leaf detail displayed on the back panel. Below the door the piece rides upon a continuous plinth.
The cabinet will function as a bedside cabinet, vanity stand, pot-cupboard, music & magazine storage - the possibilities are many.
Overall a super piece of furniture which looks attractive and functions nicely. The piece is clean and presented in good antique condition.
