Grand Antique English Antler Horn & Sterling Silver Magnifying Glass - 1890

Description

A large example, measuring 10 3/4" in length with a glass diameter measuring 4 1/2".

The antler horn handle is finished with a solid or sterling silver terminal, both sides embossed with a Ram's Head motif, both this and the sterling silver ferrule are hallmarked for Sheffield 1890.

The nickel framed glass is of course new (by Hilkinson), making it very usable piece, without damage, clear and with a good magnification.

A superb, grand and impressive desk accessory in excellent condition.
