Solid Ebony Table - Folding Stand Design - c1850
This butler tray table is presented in solid ebony and is in good antique order.
The tray top is superbly detailed with intricate carving to the solid ebony. This theme follows into the quad-form base.
The table measures 64cm (25.2") x 49cm (19.3") across and is suitable for either permanent location as a coffee or display table, or for occasional use due to the benefit of the folding leg stand.
The leg base structure benefits from twin cross-stretchers united by tall bobbins.
Overall this piece of furniture is in good antique condition. The choice of ebony makes this a very unusual, rare and collectable item of functional furniture.
