Warwick Chair - Stunning Oak Country Chair - Unique History - c1898

This oak chair has the Warwick design and is a splendid example of chair making. Fantastic detailing, superior craftsmanship, robust configuration and huge style.

Originating from Shropshire area of England with oak from the pulpit of Halesowen Church.

This piece benefits from a gorgeous depth of colour throughout.

It is in great order and is a strong and solid piece. The eye-catching look of the chair with its' sturdy turned parts, centre pole back-splat with angels wings, and a wide well carved back rest, makes for a very pleasing chair.

Overall an excellent example and wonderfully comfortable too. Highly desirable and perfect to add to any collection.

This chair will make a lovely addition to any setting and is ready to give centuries of service.
