Description

A very handsome box ready for a multitude of uses, whether you use is as a jewellery box, a table-top display piece or a desk-top tidy.

The box is made from the most elegant flamed Mahognay the bright polished patina showcasing the fabulous graining.

The box is brass bound on corners and around the sides, complimenting the inset brass shaped cartouche on the top and escutcheon to the front.

The interior has been professionally re-lined in a hand-marbled paper to create a clean finish ready for use. The interior of the lid retains it's original gold embossed leather lining which opens to reveal s storage pocket for papers and a mirror behind.

The box comes complete with a taselled working key Excellent condition, this beauty is as useful as decorative. Measuring 12" x 8 1/2" x 5" tall.
