Outstanding Girard Perregaux solid stainless steel gents wristwatch c1960.
The watch case is of polished stainless steel which is extremely robust and durable which enables you to use it as an everyday watch but equally for special occassions.
The Gyromatic calibre 17 jewels movement is in fabulous like new condition as you can see.
The original white coloured dial, hands and batons with luminous markers are in perfect mint condition. A new glass has been fitted and the case professionally cleaned and mirror polished so is in tip top condition.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case and it has the Girard Perregaux logo on the back of the watch case.
It comes complete with a new premium quality chestnut brown leather strap and a presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Girard Perregaux are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 32mm in diameter not including the crown.
Overall this watch is in outstanding condition, it looks as if it was rarely worn, it would make the perfect gift for any man.
The watch has just been fully overhauled and serviced by the highly respected Omega specialist Simon Batchelor FBHI. It has been fully authenticated and found to be a genuine Girard Perregaux in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under high magnification for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultasonic cleaning process.
The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many many years.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
