Description

A charming Edwardian sterling silver cylindrical box decorated with the ever-popular Reynold's Angels.

The top has an embossed panel with the five Angels and the sides with the five individual angels each framed with a decorative repousse garland.

The lid fits well and when removed reveals that both top and bottom have matching English silver hallmarks for London 1902, making this a true Edwardian example. The makers initials WC for the famous quality silversmith, William Comyns.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/8" in diameter (lid) or 2 3/4" in diameter (base) x 2 3/8" tall. 3.04 Troy Ounces / 94.5 Grams.
