Description

A & H Rowley of London, c.1890.

A very good Victorian mahogany bracket clock of compact dimensions, by A & H Rowley of London.

Measuring: 16" tall 9" wide 6.5" deep

The fine quality mahogany case with gilded brass mounts and finials, made to the highest standard.

The square brass dial with silvered Arabic chapter ring and finely engraved dial backplate.

The superb quality twin fusee, 8 day, movement , striking the hours and half hour on a curled gong.

Original blued steel hands.

This clock is of the finest quality and is an excellent example of late Victorian clockmaking.

The clock is finely restored and retains its original rich colour and patina.

The movement has been restored to the highest standard and is supplied with a 2 year mechanical guarantee.
