Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The 8 day, high quality movement has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff. It strikes on the half-hour and the hour.

The white, enamelled dial is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It has black Roman numerals and fine cut quality hands. The convex, bevelled glass has a brass bezel surround.
The case has a Sheraton style cartouche below the dial and inlaid box stringing. It retains it's original French-polished finish with a very rich patina.
It is fitted with brass handles to the sides and stands on four brass, ogeed bracket feet.
