Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.

The case is made of simulated burr walnut and is in excellent condition with no woodworm or rot..
The original front glass door is set in a polished brass frame with a white dial which is in perfect condition, apologies for the reflections you can see in the glass.

The clock is a full Westminster chiming which chimes on the quarter and half hours and chimes and strikes on the hour. It also has a strike silent control should you wish to use it a nightime.
The movement has just been fully serviced by the well respected Alan Williams FBHI so is in tip top condition and will give trouble free service for many years to come.

It runs for a full 8 days and is keeping accurate time, it comes with its original keys.
Overall this is a fine original English Grandmother clock and the size and proprtions makes it extremely desireable.

The clock movement comes with a full 12 month warranty.
Dimensions of clock: Height 52 inches Width at its widest part is 12 inches Depth 7 inches and the dial is 6 inches in diameter.
