Description

A quality Scottish mahogany drumhead longcase clock. Choice flame mahogany veneers to the richly patinated case. Trunk side columns and panelled trunk and base sections. A circular painted dial with date and seconds dials with blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a bell.

John Ferguson of Bathgate is recorded in Whites ' Scottish Clock and Watchmakers' book as working in 1860.
