Victorian Open Chair - Show Frame - c1880

This pleasing open chair is unusually styled and in good antique order throughout.
With a padded twin button rear cushion the overall effect is a comfy low chair with bags of character and of sturdy design.
The chair rides upon original castors to front and back. The frame bears the original ebonised finish and gilt finish to the fluting.
The chair is of a good build quality and will make a good fireside, lounge or bedroom piece with the 35cm seat height.
The seat is covered with a quality textile which is cleanly presented and trimmed with an appropriate braid. The chair is solid of joint throughout.
