Outstanding Omega heavy solid 18ct gold gents wristwatch c1960.

This is an extremely rare model as it has a heavy rose or pink gold case with a black gloss dial as opposed to a matt black dial and is much sought after by collectors.
The watch is the very popular Seamaster Automatic model which has the calibre 562 24 jewels movement, one of the best automatic movements ever made by Omega, highly reliable and beautifully made, as you can see it is in fabulous like new condition.

The black gloss dial, batons and hands are original and in perfect condition. It has a gilt bezel and a new armoured glass has been fitted, the case has been professionally cleaned and polished so it is in prestine condition.

The Seamaster logo on the back of the case is crisp and clear indicating that it has had very little wear. As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case and it has the Omega logo on its original crown. The case is fully hallmarked on the back of two of the lugs and it has brand new genuine Omega rose gold plated buckle fitted to complete the look.

It comes complete with a new premium quality Hirsch leather strap and a wooden presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 35mm in diameter not including the crown.
Overall this watch is in outstanding near mint condition, it looks as if it was rarely worn, it would make the perfect gift for any man.
The watch has just been fully overhauled and serviced by the highly respected watch specialist Simon Batchelor MBHI. It has been fully authenticated and found to be a genuine Omega in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under high magnification for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultasonic cleaning process.
The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many many years.
Included with the watch is the service specification which proves it is accurate to within 4.5 seconds per day.
We have taken various photographs at different angles using different coloured backgrounds in order for you to have a true idea of the beautiful colour of the gold, with it having a black gloss dial and the watch glass it is incredibly challenging to take photographs without any reflections dust particles showing but we will stress this watch is in exceptional condition.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
This serial number on the movement and the hallmark on the case dates this watch to 1960.
