Antique Victorian Large Oak Open Bookcase C1890 W6621.17.10

Description

Antique victorian large oak open fronted bookcase and dating from around 1890. Constructed from solid oak it has a flared cornice top above a frieze with two rows of dental moulding and above six graduating shelves all of which are fixed and with moulded fronts. Standing on bun feet.

Measures: 66" high X 11" deep X internal depth 7.5" X 62" wide X internal height measurements from top: 8" , 8" , 9", 9" , bottom two shelves 12"

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality oak oozing all the charm and character of the period.
