Description

A wonderful pot-pourri box made by one of the finest London silversmith's of the Victorian era, William Comyns, always having produced quality, decorative pieces of silver.

The hinged box has a lid, with a classical figural (Greek) scene, pierced or reticulated.

The box has a full hallmark for London 1901, very late Victorian. Excellent condition, measuring 2 3/4" x 2" x 1 1/8" tall. 2.37 Troy Ounces / 73.6 Grams.
