Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The gorgeous oval to the lid is inlaid with another floral display in a flower bowl, and the front has a basket again over-flowing with flowers. The escutcheon which houses the working key is made from Ivory.

The interior reveals a fitted twin lidded box, the lids topped with turned Ivory knobs.
Excellent condition, dating to around 1780. 6 3/4" x 4 1/4" x 4 1/2" tall.
