Description

Paul Garnier, Horologier Du Roi circa 1865. Numbered 4454, a quarter striking on demand mechanism. A silver dial masking to the circular dial with 5 minute outer markers and signed 'Paul Garnier'. A subsidiary enamel alarm dial. An 8-day duration mechanism with 1/2 hour and hour gong striking. Push button on demand quarter striking. Engraved by maker to the backplate. Clockmaker to the King of France.
