Description

A really fabulous inkwell made from a piece of heavy crystal with rounded edges and the underside deeply cut with the ever-popular hobnail design.

The collar and hinged lid are made from sterling silver, probably made in France and imported in 1912 with a full hallmark for London 1912, stamped 925, together with the silversmith's initials C&C.

On top of the lid is the most exquisite pink guilloche enamel, with a double lined border in white enamel.

Absolutely exquisite in the most desirable colour, excellent condition, measuring 3" x 3" x 2 7/8" tall.
