London Convex Glass Fusee Dial Clock

Description

A good quality convex glass fusee dial clock. A cast brass bezel to the 12" painted dial. Fine blued steel hands. A mahogany case with a slim surround of good colour and patination. An 8-day duration fusee mechanism with shaped plates.

James Miller of London is recorded in Loomes' Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working 1839-1875. This example dates to Circa 1845.
