A Satinwood Late Victorian Credenza

19th century
Description

A superb Late Victorian Satinwood credenza with marquetry inlaid decoration in the manner of Wright and Mansfield. This beautiful credenza having inlaid arabesques, ivory figures and dolphins, the galleried top having an inlaid dental moulded pediment over a single shelf, above the yellow and red veined sienna marble top. The lower section having beautiful twin inlaid doors with brass handles enclosing a single shelf and flanked by shaped open ends also having shelving, the whole raised on a shaped plinth base circa 1880-1890

Dimensions: 54" wide x 49" high x 23.5" deep

Condition: This Credenza is in excellent condition, the marble has been repaired. Cleaned and waxed
