Antique English Silver Plated Fish Knives & Forks for Twelve C.1890

Description

A really stunning set of twelve fish knives and forks (24 pieces in total), the kind we (and our clients) are always looking for, highly ornate and complete with their original Mahogany presentation box.

Both knives and forks have raised shell motifs back and front and an engraved floral and foliate decoration.

All pieces are marked H F for Harrison Fisher of Sheffield, this mark dating them to the Victorian era, around 1880 / 1890.

All in excellent condition, the box having a crack to the top. Each knife measures 8" and each fork, 6 1/8". The box measures 13 1/2" x 9 1/2".
