Description

A quite wonderful and highly decorative pickle jar in a silver plated caddy.

The glass is wonderfully tactile, a heavy, thick piece of crystal was used, cut and then beautifully acid etched below the cutting.

The caddy is silver plated and made by Henry Wilkinson & Co. of Sheffield, with a full makers mark on the underside, dating this piece to around 1860.

Complete with a pickle fork, it remains in excellent condition. The caddy base has a measurement 5 3/4" x 5" (foot to foot) and standing 9" tall to top of handle.
